I bought an evenflo triumph convertible car seat in nov. 2005. This has been a great car seat that i have been very pleased with until recently when part of the chest clip broke. We found a replacement chest clip at babies r us for $7, but were unable to figure out how to install it.i called the cs number andi was basically told that the chest clip cannot be replaced on this model, that i should stop using the seat, and that they refused to do anything for me. The chest clip we found at babies r us is an exact match to the piece that is broken on our seat, yet with this particular model, it cannot be installed. This is ridiculous to me that a perfectly good car seat has to go to waste because a $7 part cannot be replaced.

Evenflo comfort carseat 3591658 p1 - the foam comes out of this seat. My son was able to get a huge amount in his mouth and chock on it causing me to make an emergency highway stop. A call to evenflo revealed that they would give me a new car seat if they still made them, but because they don't i was told i was out of luck. I was also told to stop using the seat immediately and destroy it. For almost $200 i expected it to last at least the 5 years that it was advertised to be used for (birth to 5). It has only been 3 since my purchase.

Testing seats while shopping; found thatthe evenflo - triumph advance convertible car seat with knob ratchet adjustments carried by walmart-let the seat belts holding the child not stay tight due to spring failier on ratchet. The mechanism has no back up and only a tiny spring attached to a piece of plastic to hold the claw of the ratchet mechanism.

Two piece harness clip of carseat broke.

My family bought four carseats in 2006 for my grandson from evenflo (triumph3591612).while taking my granddaughter out the chest clip broke in two spots.this is the least used of all our car seats as it is in a emergency back-up vehicle and is only used on average less than 5 times a year.the carseat says not to use after 2012.in contacting evenflo they said that this clip is factory installed and there is nothing they can do.

The crotch strap belt on our evenflo triumph is frayed on both sides and because it is beyond 90 days of the purchase, evenflo will do nothing about it. The seat is barely 2 1/2 years old and it was given to me by a very close friend who barely used it because she transitioned her son into another seat. We are hoping to get a new seat as we are left without one and evenflo is not concerned about the fraying seat belt. The manufacturer retrieved her child safety seat and sent it to their engineers to have it investigated and analyzed. They also provided her with a fifty percent discount to purchase a new child safety seat.

The left lower lap belt/strap on the evenflo triumph car seat became frayed, almost the whole way through.it looks like if you took a butter knife to a selt belt, cut through and frayed.
