I was educating a parent on how to use an evenflo generations combination seat. I pressed the release button of the headrest to demonstrate how the headrest moves up and down. When i pressed it, it literally broke in my hands, with the spring snapping out of the back of the headrest and the plastic lever of the release button breaking off completely from the car seat. This was a brand-new car seat that was never used before.
