I have sent back a complaint form to you back in 2001 and i believe that you don't have my info so here is my story once more. My daughter had been in an automobile accident in sept of 2000. With the impact of the crash, the red adjustable button broke off. The handle of the arm rest had cracked. Leaving her with a huge gash which needed to have 16 stiches to her right forehead. She had also gotten a broken collarbone and abrasions fromthe seat.

While driving at 25 mph consumer's child was banging on the front of the shield of the child seat.suddenly the entire shield fell apart with springs and parts flying everywhere in the vehicle.

Evenflo model # 219101p2, dom 12/96; the red buttonwhere the overhead shield connects to the seat frame on the right side(if the seat is facing forward) fell into the car seat.manufacturer will be notified about the problem.

Evenflo model #2112795, dom 11/27/95; the child hit the red button on the plastic arm of the css and the plastic from the inside broke ,and a piece of spring flew out of css.

The consumer noticed a problem with an evenflo seat. Model 219143p2mfg date july/23/1997,thehandle lock mechanism broke and leaving the childunrestrained. Manufacturer was notified but stated that there was nothing they can do.*nlm*scc

Evenflo model #219246p1, dom 15 oct 1998, 1 1/2 year old child can easily undo harness clipand climb out, causing loss of protection.

Whenowner placed the child in the safety seat the child screamed because the plastic part of the seat had overheated, leaving the child with a burn.

Received recall notice (#97019000) in mail. Called for replacement for over a week. Tried to leave a message, but phone is either busy or disconnected before information is given.

Evenflo child restraint system (discovery model) failed during relatively low speed t-bone accident, causing the car seat to crack and the seat to release from its base and the infant dying.have discussed the matter with, and provided additional details to, steve beretzky of nhtsa.model no. 209 1fp1.

Adjustable shield broke while child was strapped into seat.evenflo saidit was out of warranty.

219143p2 manufactured in may 1997. Consumer states after placing the child in the ccs. While putting the arm down. The handle broke off on 0ne side.please provide any further information.
