Consumer states the restraint straps on the car seat that hold the child in, keep coming loose. This has happened 6 times.the retailer (target) would not return the seat.however, they did inform consumer of a recall.manufacturer was notified andwanted consumer to continue to use infant seat until a repair kit was sent.consumer purchased a new seat. *sb
Model: 22-625-edg ; dated: 04/26/04 ; s/n: gb1b the restraint straps on the car seat that hold the child in, keep coming loose and my child keeps fliping over in the seat while i'm driving the road. My child flip out of the seat and bumped his head on the car door.i'm came always fixing the seat belt strap everyday. This car seat is a piece of cramp for the money people spend on a piece of safety equipment for their children.
Dt: contact states: she owns aneddie bauer infant car seat, model #22-625-edg-gb1b, which was recalled in 4-05. She has contacted dorel juvenile group 8 times via e-mail and called them four times. They have told her they would send her the kit to repair the car seat and they have notsent the kit yet. The first time she called, they said the recall had just come across their desk.
The buckles on the back of the car seat do not hold the straps tightly.i have had the strap completely come off (with no harm done).i thought it was the way that i was using it until i used the same car seat owned by a friend and realized it was a problem with the seat itself.
