Dt:it is a forward facing child safety seat or can also be a rear facing infant seat manufactured by doral juvenile group, make of eddie bauer, and model no. 22-720-hml, build date is 10-25-04, po1c015114.when consumer was trying to place her child in the forward facing position the child seat arm rest/bar came off the child seat.this occurred on july 9,2005. The consumer contacted the doral juvenile group they told her that it was probably just some clips that had came lose. They told the consumer that they would send her some replacement clips. While filing safety complaint the consumer noticed that it is actually the part that goes into the clips that has split.
Dt:dorel juvenile eddie bauer model # 225589, dom 08/02/2005. The contact stated the child seat tips from side to side when the child is placed in the seat. On one occasion the seat flipped over with the child inside. After having problems with the seat tipping the contact took it to a local fire department for inspection. The child safety seat technician told the contact the seat was top heavy and could not be installed properly. Updated 01/25/06.

Dt*:the contact stated while the child safety seat was secured in the vehicle, there were two screws that fell out of the handle into the seat.the screws were from the child safety seat handle.the contact attempted to reinsert the screws back into the handle however the screw holes were stripped out.the manufacturer has not been alerted. The child seat is a doral juvenile group, eddie bauer, model number 22-630-bal and the date of manufacture is 09/13/05.
Dt: dorel juvenile group eddie bauer model 22-625 ard. The contact stated while lifting the car seat the handle came loose from the base. The child was ejected from the seat, but was not injured.the manufacturer has not been contacted at this time.

Dt:eddie bauer model # 22-859 edg hb5b. Thecallers child safety seat shiftsfrom side to side. She has it securely installed. Seat is a forward facing seat. She is using the correct seat belts in the back seat. Manufacturer has not been contacted yet.

I have an eddie bauer infant car seat. Designer 22, se, lx ???(info on manual) the straps thread through in the back. I have noticed on several occasions that the straps will loosen and on occasion have come unthreaded during a car trip. I believe that the straps loosen as the child moves around. I was very unnerved to know the straps that were suppose to be securing my baby were coming unthreaded on their own.
The contact owns an eddie bauer 22-249 wal (na) rearfacing infant seat.the seat was manufactured on january 23, 2006.the latch system in the child seat becomes unhooked at any given time, even when the child is not touching the buckle.the contact has not called the child seat manufacturer, but would like the failure to be repaired.
Dt:eddie bauer, 22-740 mdi. The plastic on the child seat underand in the padding of the arm rest there is a hole, and the callers grand child got his finger stuck. Child was injured, and had to go to doctor. Fire department had to cut the seat to getthe finger loose. Manufacturer wanted her to send the car seat to them. A report was filed with fire departmentthe model #22-740 mdi.
Dt:the seat has a over head shield and it broke off.the consumer called the manufacturer and they sent a remedy kit.it happened again and the manufacturer stated it was her problem now.nothing happened leading up to it breaking.the seat has only been used approximately six times in six weeks.it was purchased new.the model number could not be located on the seat, the numbers located were, 4359-3608 and 4359-4082.
The contact owns an eddie bauer travel system, model number 22-627 mtt child seat (na).the contact stated that the straps on the seat are not long enough to restrain her 20 lbs baby.she also stated that the straps should restrain up to 40 lbs.target would not allow her to exchange or return the seat because it is used.the contact will notify dorel.
