Cosco dreamride carbedmanufactured 8/7/07 model number 22022fsmparents of 4lb 15 oz infant given carbed from hospital when infant failed the car seat challenge test. Infant is now 5 weeks old and 7lbs. Was retested and now can safely ride in an infant rear facing car seat.due to the cloth straps that you thread the seatbelt thru it is nearly impossible to get a tight fit so the car bed won't move more than an inch on the bench seat of the back of the vehicle.also if a fast stop was made it would force the carbed to push the baby up against the seat back of the vehicle. This can't be safe. This couple was given the deamride because she didnt seem to fit in the angel ride car bed lengthwise. The angel ride car bed has a hard plastic on the side to fit the seat belt thru and also a belt adjuster to fit around the seatbelt to hold the carbed securely in the vehicle.
Cpsc:i took our car seat cover off to wash and found that one of the safety harness belts underneath had become completely worn so that it had severed completely. This car seat was bought in jan. 2015 and supposed to last until my child reaches 70 pounds ( needless to say a lifetime product ). Separate base purchased for mico infant seat would not clickcar seat onto base.upon further investigation and comparison with another base, consumer found that this separate base was missing the springsneeded to work properly, this seat come straight from the retailer. *nj
As a technician, i attempted to install the above listed base into car. The carrier would not lock into base. I tested carrier with second base manufactured on a different date and it did lock.the above base is faulty and will be returned.base never used. Brand new updated 02-19-09updated 02/19/09.
The contact owns a dorel maxi cosi pria 85 (na) child safety seat, model number: cc156dxb. The seat was manufactured on december 6, 2016. The safety seat was being utilized in a 2012 honda cr-v. The contact stated that the mechanism that tightened the straps failed and caused the straps to independently loosen. The failure occurred twice. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and provided a new seat free of charge. The purchase date was unknown.

Doral maxi-cosi pria 70model # cc099-apu manufacture date 05/08/2014. Tightening pull strap is hard to almost impossible to tighten making it a safety issue when placing child in the seat. Edges of strap also are fraying weakening the overall strength of the harness.
