The contact owns a 2008 dorel 22-300 child restraint. The contact stated that while holding the child restraint handle with the baby in the child seat. The bolts on the right side of the carrier violently came off of the child restraint. The carrier handle was no longer functional and had not been used since the failure.
The contact owns a 2009 dorel juvenile group child restraint seat, model number 22-300. The contact was transporting the child while secured in a rear facing infant restraint seat. The handle was extremely loose and slipped when grasping. Immediately, the occupant had fallen out of the restraint seat causing the head area to hit the grassy ground surface. Thechild was taken to the hospital. The manufacturer was notified which there was no resolution.
