Dt: dorel juvenile group designer model # 22-300 jos, dom 01/09/2004.the shoulder harness that holds the infant in completely separate from the child safety seat.the harness was on recall when purchased which was unknown to the contact at that time.the contact contacted the manufacturer, thedorel juvenile group,regarding the remedy.no parts have been sent to the contact, who has called about this twice.the contactwanted a complete refund for the child safety seat.no corrections or repairs have been made.the contactdiscontinued use of the child safety seat.the contact was not notified of the recall by her owner registration.
The child safety seat straps come out of the back of the seat during use.the seat was manufactured by dorel juvenile group 9/09/2004 and is not affected by their recent recall in may 05.the model # is 22-626-bgl.i have called the company multiple times and cannot get through to a person or any automated system that will help me with this problem.the seat is absolutely unusable as the straps just slide out from the back.
