I received a recall notice for my car seat that attaches to my stroller.at first, i followed the instructions and ordered a "repair kit".then, i realized that i would have to fix the car seat that my infant uses.i have no experience to do so and i did not make or back this product with my name.but, i did pay some good money for it.is is legal to make me do this without offering a reimbursement for a new car seat/stroller combo?this is the life of my infant that we are talking about here!please help me to know what i need to know to get this matter settled?sincerely, [xxx]information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).'*pm
The harness buckle was too far away from the child, allowing the child to slide down in the child seat.the seat was checked by a technician who recommended to the consumer to not use the seat.*scc
