I had my 3 month old strapped ino her car seat and the car seat latched onto the stroller.i was walking down the drive way and hit a bump where the road and drive way meet.the car seat came unattached from the stroller and the straps on the car seat came undone.there for the car seat flipped over backwards, my 3 month old came out of the seat landing on her head and the car seat landed on top of her.she has a head injury from this incident.i took her to the hospital and she is o.kbut the latch system on the car seat holding the baby in and the latch systems hold the car seat onto to the stroller should not have came apart.i have only had this one incident and do not wish to have another.i would like to get a whole different car seat and stroller but do not have the funds to do so.i want to know that my child is safe.the model number i was given for this particular travel system is tr141abz.

The contact owns a dorel juvenile group child seat, model number 22-300 oss (na).the seat was manufactured on january 8, 2009.the contact stated that the screw on the handle of the child seat becomes loose.she repaired the seat, but it has currently failed again.the purchase date was unknown.

Dt: the straps on graco car seat have little clamps that clamped down when there was a jerk on them, however, the straps seemed to work themselves loose every four days .as far as can tell from the diagram the seatwas installed correctly.

Dt:child safety stroller combination, manufactured by dorell juvenile group, the make is cosco juvenile, model no. 22-300-jos built date 02-28-04.the positioning clip in the rear of the child seat will not hold position.the teeth/grips of the positioning clip will not hold allowing the straps to slide right through.the child seat has had this problem since the consumer has owned the child seat.it was given to her as a gift on or around feb. 24, 2005.
Dt:consumer states that her 4 month old fellout of the car seat twice.the straps were not staying hooked in the back which allowed the child to fall out.
Dt*: the contact stated the child seat straps did not secure the child into place, which caused two children to fall out of the car seat.the seat was a rear facing infant seat that was kept in the front seat of the vehicle.
