My 2 year olds car seat harness loosens if he moves around to much in it. Not sure why or how, it just does so i am constantly tightening it. Nothing as of now has been done to correct it.
Cosco scenera car seat model # 22-133 sdh has a click-lock failure so that the harness can not be locked into the seat, at all. It is the metal type attached to the end of the shoulder strap. The two metal pieces are supposed to snap/lock from both sides of the harness. I know of no event that caused the failure. I have made numerous attempts to get the lock to engage the two metal extensions. It just will not work. I checked visually for obstructions. There are none apparent. I have replaced the seat. I found no recall notice for this particular seat.
My daughter is 22 months old, and rides in a cosco scenera car seat.today when i put her in the seat, i noticed a tear in the harness.upon inspecting the harness, i noted four tears in the harness, 2 on the left side and 2 on the right side.the tears on the left side are much worse than the tears on the right.it appears that they were caused by something on the underside of the car seat.the seat was purchased less than 5 months ago, and is totally unusable at this time.i will be contacting dorel on monday (1/3/2011) to report this to them.

The contact owns a cosco child restraint, model number 22-133(scenera) and manufactured august 14, 2009. The contactstated the child restraint harness straps tore within four months of purchasing. The manufacturer was not contacted to report the failure.
