The contact owns a cosco light n comfy dx child safety seat (na), model number: ic247dhr (na). The seat was manufactured on 12/04/2015. The safety seat was being utilized in a 2002 toyota sequoia. The contact stated that the child safety seat base would not stay in place when secured in the vehicle. The safety seat base moved independently. The child was in the safety seat at the time of the failure. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure.
The contact owns a cosco child safety seat model number 019013gb(na). The contact stated the straps come loose while driving.the failure caused the safety seat to be loose and tip over. The contact did not take the safety seat to a technician nor did he call the manufacturer. The contact stated that the child safety seat was unsafe to use.
