The contact owns a combi shuttle rearfacing infant seat, model 808707.the seat was manufactured on december 10, 2007.the child seat was included in nhtsa campaign id number 08c004000 (child seat:base (infant)).the seat was inspected by a certified technician, who determined that the seat had been retrofitted as a part of the recall.the seat still does not latch properly on one side.updated 10/14/08.*ljmodel # 808707 updated 10/16/08.
The contact owns a 2007 combi shuttle 8087-16 rearfacing infant seat.the manufactured date was october 1, 2007.the contact received a recall notice for the base of the safety seat in february of 2007.she called the manufacturer and placed an order for a replacement retro fit kit for the safety seat.as of may 12, 2008, the contact has not yet received the kit and is unable to safely secure the child in the vehicle.the manufacturer continues to state that they will send the repair kit, but the contact never receives anything.she believes that three months is too long of a wait for an item to be delivered.the recall number was unknown.
