Combi recalled their centre, centre arb and shuttle and associated travel systems containing centre and shuttle.they had buyers register for a free retrofit kit and said it would arrive in 6-8 weeks.8 weeks has passed with no retrofit kit and no explanation from the company as to when we can expect our products to arrive.
The contact owns a 2006 combi centre xt 807486 rearfacing infant seat.the contact stated that her seat was included in nhtsa campaign id number 08c004000 (child seat:base (infant)).she called combi to request a free repair kit and was informed that she would have her kit by mid-april of 2008.the seat was not received by that time.combi then stated that they would try to have the repair kit shipped out by the end of april.the kit was initially requested in february of 2008.the seat was manufactured on december 15, 2006.there had been no failure to date.
