I'm complaining about the design of the britax wizard & marathon carseats. The buckle is very easy for a toddler to open while driving, making the restraint very loose and therefore a danger to his safety. This design is a flaw and the manufacturer should do something about it immediately!

We have the britax wizard car seat and have contacted britax about this problem.it's been 2 weeks and still no response.(i called back today and was told that the issue was being researched.)our 18 mos old has figured out how to easily loosen the straps on the carseat.i spent much time teaching him not to do it, and for almost 2 weeks, he has not loosened the straps.today, he did it again.and this was after i had secured the velcroed flap (that covers the loosening device) into place with safety pins.he apparently was able to shake the safety pins off.i have no idea what to do at this point aside from buy another carseat.however, i think other consumers should be aware of this issue.

Dt: the contact states there is a release lever on the front covered by a velcro cover, but when liftedit will loosen the restraint' harness around the child, whowas able to easily operate this lever while he was restrained in the car seat.
