I have a 2014 britax clicktight boulevard car seat. I reinstalled the seat (rear facing) into my fathers 2003 suburban on 4/28/15. When i took my son out of the seat on the evening of 4/29/15, i noticed the recline of the seat was drastically reclined back - probably on position 1 or 2 when i originally put in at position 4 or 5. I then reinstalled the seat (rear facing again) into my 2013 gmc terrain, and i could not move the recline lever. I opened the seat (where the click tight operation works) and noticed that where the recline lever clicks in to the seat, the two metal latches were out. I was able to push both back in with a flat head screw driver. I do have pictures of the before, and after, if needed.

I was trying to install the car seat forward facing since the child has outgrown it rear facing. The car seat will not lock in the upright, ff mode and the manual states that it can only be used in recline mode for children under 33lbs. This child was 35lbs. I am forced to go against manufactures requests and installed it ff in the reclined position for a child over 35lbs.

Child can loosen straps on the britax boulevard car seat. From about 18 months on, toddler can reach for the release latch between thighs and raise his body, loosening the straps. He did this several times before we realized what the problem was. He has been able to partially wriggle out of the restraint as a result, while we were driving on the freeway.
