Britax model e90228, dom20 june 2001, it took 4 calls to manufacturer to getcorrect parts for seat underrecall.wrong parts were sent and installed by consumer twice.

I own a britax marahon child safety seat manufactured august 15, 2002.(it was in batch nubmer 502948, model number e9l0636 and serial number e9l06361824.)it is extremely difficult, if not nearly impossible, to tighten the safety straps.it is my understanding that britax has changed how they loop this strap since this seat was initially sold.therefore, i am concerned about the safety of this seat.

I am horrified to know that my 2000dodge caravan has gen 3 seat belts installed after dodge knew full well that they come unlatched unintentional during a crash test.it made me think back about my van and realize that my seat belts have become unlatched.i have also put my children's car seats in and they too have become unlatched.about a month ago i went away and bought my dog along, i placed my dog in the seat with a dog seat belt and she kept becoming unlatched. I am very concerned about this and want the gen 4 seat belts installed in my van. I am going to try and sell it now unless i get it changed. Who do they think they are putting millions of people in danger when the consumer/victim are trying to protect themselves and their family from harm.how dare they!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i want something done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Received recall #01e058000 regarding metal ring tether replacement kits for 3 child seats. Proceeded to place metal rings on child seats, according to instructions, and tether metal rings failed to fit flush against either of the child seats properly. Parent felt remedy was a failure, and thatchild seat should have been tested prior to sending repair kits out.

Regarding britax super elite child safety seat: the harness release tab failed to hold the harness tight.the harness would slip through the tab and in no way would hold in a crash.

The consumer's children were able to unfastened the harness while the vehicle was in motion. The consumer contacted the manufacturer who advised the problem was common and offered to sale a cover to prevent unbuckling of harness.css info:britax/advantage e902228/06-14-01-----both seats.

The webbing on the seat was rough.. The child sustained a cut on her cheek.the child sustained a cut on cheek from rubbing against the strap.*tc

Britax model # e90228, 11-07-29002; when trying to tighten straps on a car seat only one side of the harness straps will tighten up, it's usually the child's left shoulder that does not tighten up.
