On a brand new base of this infant seat (straight out of the box) one lower anchor connector was installed upside down (closed path, unable to be corrected)(related vehicle information: model year=2013, make=ford, model=edge)

The contact owns a britax b-safe 35 travel system child safety seat. The contact was notified of the child safety seat recall through nhtsa campaign number: 16c001000. The contact called the manufacturer in january for a replacement kit. The contact was informed that the replacement would take 10 to 14 days. Thirty days later, the replacement was received. The part was a very thin piece of plastic to reinforce the carrier handle. The contact felt that the remedy was not sufficient because the plastic clamp scratched while transporting the child safety seat. The manufacturer was notified. The purchase date was unknown.

Today we had our car seat installed by a cps technician and we were told the carrying handle rotates too far forward.

Handle doesn't properly lock and the handle goes all the way forward causing the carseat to fall on the ground with child in it. Britax refuses to replace says it is suppose to do that she to just wiggle handle to lock it each time.
