We purchased a baby trend 3-in-1 car seat in the summer of 2012 since the purchase we are on our 3rd chest buckle. Upon investigation , i found that baby trend admittingly installed a sub par chest buckle too small for the car seat. We have been sent a replacement buckle that has also broken. Now i am finding out that there are 2 other recalls on the same car seat. One for the harness & one for the harness that connects to the seat. We where never informed by baby trend that we had a recall on the device that is supposed to be protecting my child's life, even though we have registered our car seat.

The chest plate clip on the restraint broke/disintegrated while i was unclipping it to remove my child. Clearly, the plastic had been deteriorating unbeknownst to me.(related vehicle information: model year=2011, make=trendz fastback 3-in, model=fb60408)
