Baby trend flex-loc infant car seat (model #6311):the belt attached to the buckle on this five point harness, brand new infant restraint is starting to unravel. Complaint filed both over the phone (through their voice mail service) and online.response time is supposed to be 48 hours, but after 10 days, there's been no reply to either complaint.store where bought won't accept it as a return since it was purchased more than 90 days ago, even though it's only been used for 7 weeks.also, the handle release buttons (to lower or raise the carry handle) is hard to operate.

Two year old baby trend infant car seat base was found to be malfunctioning - there are two spring-loaded latches on the base that hold the infant car seat, and one latch has failed (spring appears to have fallen off).concern is that one latch is not enough, and problem is not obvious because the remaining latch clicks to make it appear it is secure, so that the problem is not apparent to the user.

I removed the infant carrier from the car seat base and found two springs.i was told by the manufacturer that my car seat is no longer safe but they will not fix it.i am concerned this might happen to other people who might miss the springs if they rolled somewhere or fell out during a walk or something.they would then not know that their infant was not safe in that car seat.
