The contact owns a baby trend inertia safety seat, model number: cs58743, and manufactured january 28, 2013. The contact stated that while attempting to secure the child in the safety seat, the harness clip became fractured. The contact was able to exchange the safety seat from where it was purchased. The contact called the manufacturer regarding the failure. The manufacturer offered to send a replacement buckle for the safety seat.
