When i purchased this carseat i had trouble from the very beginning. The yellow latch bars won't pop out anymore. But my main concern or complaint rather is that the side of the seat completely broke in half. All i did was pick it up to move it from one car to the next and it cracked and broke right in my arms. What if my son would have been in the seat and we got in an accident? this seat is not safe at all. And everyone needs to be aware of this problem.

The contact owns a 2008 baby trend child restraint seat, model number cs21068, manufactured on december 12 , 2008.the contact was transporting the child from the residence to the vehicle, secured in an "infant only" child restraint seat.the handle of the child restraint seat was very difficult to move when grasping.there were several attempts before the handle released.the contact is in the process of notifying the manufacturer of the safety concerns.the vehicle information was unavailable.
The latch, which buckles between the baby legs, would not release. The parent had to wiggle the child through the hardness to get the child out the safety seat. Manufacturer was not notified.
