I bought a baby trend hybrid 3-in-1 booster seat on june 19, 2014. On tuesday july 8, 2014 the chest straps would not tighten correctly on my daughter no matter how hard i pulled on the strap. I called the manufacturer and was told to wiggle the seat as i was tightening it because the metal plate the connects the three straps was getting stuck on the booster seat itself. This did not work. So the following day, wednesday july 9, 2014, i took my car seat, which was installed in my car, to a local hospital to have it checked out. I was informed thatthere are actually 2 metal plates holding the straps in place and both are getting stuck on the booster. I called the manufacturer again and was told to wiggle the seat. I explained to them that this did not help and they had no response other than to wiggle the seat, which if installed correctly, a seat should not be able to move. The hospital said they had seen several other of these seats with the same problem and told me to file a complaint. I plan on returning the seat to the store where i purchased it and buying something else. (the model # is not listed in your system. I have the baby trend hybrid 3-in-1 booster in carrie pattern. The model # listed on seat is fb58935, date of man. 4/1/14 serial # fb58103ff000102, there is no expiration date listed on any stickers attached to the seat).
