I have a child car seat, alpha omega elite, for my grandson. It was manufactured 12/27/2013. I have a very hard time unlatching the buckle. Right after i got it is when the recall came out for the graco buckles. I looked and i am not seeing thatrecall includes my car seat. Yet the buckle looks the same and is hard to unbuckle.i noticed that before the graco recall and had concerns about it. Are there any other recalls for buckles?i get concerned that i will not be able to unbuckle it in a hurry if there is an emergency.i'm having a hard time with finding my number in what you suggest so here is the information. The contact owns an alpha elite child restraint, model number: wce2b626829, manufactured july 26, 2011 (n/a). The child restraint was being used in a 2005 saturn view. The contact stated that the harness straps on the safety seat could not be adjusted once the child was placed in the seat. The manufacturer was notified of the failure.

I am not happy with the solution to "fix" the recall. Does djg really think that putting a plastic piece @ the end of the strap will stop the harness from slipping where injury will not be caused to the child in the invent of a crash. Two car seats "fixed" the same way.when you spend that kind of money on a car seat you expect it to be safe and for them to think thatwill fix is bull.
