Kmart is selling a stroller/car seat combo (called the safeplus 3 in 1 foldable baby kids travel stroller, model # bb4633bk) that includes a car seat that does not meet fmvss 213.there are virtually no informational or warning labels, let alone the ones required by regulation.the carrier is described online (http://www.kmart.com/safeplus-3-in1-foldable-baby-kids-travel-stroller/p-spm15259796024?plpsellerid=factorydirectsale&prdno=1&blockno=1&blocktype=g1) as being aa car seat, and it comes with a stay-in-car base (also lacking labeling).the date given in this report is the day that this model was seen at a childbirth center, bought by a family intending to use it to transport their newborn infant.fortunately, since the infant was premature, the "car seat" was subject to additional scrutiny by hospital staff, so a suitable replacement was provided.this product needs to be taken off the market so that others do not purchase it for use in a vehicle. In addition to the missing labels, a visual inspection shows the components to be of lesser quality than other models on the market, raising concern over crash-worthiness, as well.in completing the steps to file this complaint, the process required that information about this device be provided that wasn't among the pull-down menu items.since an "other" category was not offered, and the fields were required to complete the process, i picked erroneous models info (alkot), selecting a manufacturer that has been defunct for many years. For reporting of problems of this type, i recommend that an "other" or "not shown" option be added.
